Application forms can be downloaded from www.mts.net.pk/projects, send completed application forms along with bank deposit slip to MTS. Use separate application forms and fee slips for applying for more than one program. Application forms must reach MTS Head Office before the last date 25th January 2020. Admission Test date will be intimated to candidates through online Portal/SMS at there given cell number. Online Test will be conducted for all programs (COMPUTER BASED TEST).The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Application submitted in person or by hand will not be accepted. For any other information please visit /www.mts.net.pk. The test will be conducted only in Islamabad. No TA/DA will be paid for test or interview.

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Hunarmand Pakistan Program 2020 with 30 billion Rupees for youth in Pakistan. This program will enable youth seeking hands-on technical experience at 500 institutes across Pakistan in more than 200 trades and courses. The PM Hunarmand Program 2020 is a great initiative and candidates can apply online in following Programs like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Hi-tech courses, mechatronics and other general trades such as plumbing, welding and other.

Higher Education Department Government of Punjab announced The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) CHIEFMNISTER MERTT SCHOLARSHIP (CMMS) PROGRAM FULLY FUNDED for International Ph.D. Scholarships.

APPLICATIONS FOR 2020-21 INTAKE

Applications are invited from eligible male and female Pakistani National who have secured admission in Top 50 QS Ranked (subject wise) Universities of the world.

Subject Areas: Life Sciences Medicine I Engineering & Technology I Natural Sciences I Social Sciences / Arts & Humanities. A detailed list of preferred subject areas is available at www.peef.org.pk/cmms.html.

Eligibility Criteria

Students applying for CMMS should have:

  • Valid Ph.D. admission offer from one of the Top 50 QS Ranked (subject wise) Universities of the world, in preferred subject areas.
  • Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career.
  • Declared monthly family income (including self, spouse, and parents) is equal to or less than Rs. 200,000/-
  • Maximum age of 35 years on 12,h May 2020.
  • Not availed of any foreign scholarship in the past.

How to Apply

  • Secure admission in Top 50 QS Ranked (subject wise) Universities of the world in the preferred subject areas as mentioned above.
  • The scholarship application form can be downloaded from https://www.peef.org.pk/cmms.html
    •Send duly filled application form to PEEF within the due date.

Note:

  • The selected candidates cannot defer the scholarship to next year.
  • Permanent/regular faculty members of public sector teaching / educational institutions of Pakistan are not eligible to
    apply for Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) Program.
  • Preference shall be given to the students having Punjab domicile; however, a special quota has also been allocated for
    other provinces including AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (GB). FATA and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
  • You can get admission to the University and apply for Visa is the responsibility of the applicant.
  • The decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee shall be final.
  • PEEF reserves the right to reject any application or call off the whole selection process without assigning any reason.

Scientific Aptitude Test and Paper Based IQ Test for STFS

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Students who have passed 10th class examinations SSC/Matric in 2019 only from pure government sector schools are eligible to apply
  2. Students scoring minimum 60% overall marks and 70% marks in four (4) science subjects viz., Biology/Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics

iii. Attested copies of Matric/SSC result card, B-form and domicile certificate of the student. However, if student domicile is not available, the father’s domicile is acceptable for test

  1. Private, semi-government or any other type of schools is not eligible as per approved PC-I of STFS.

Selection Criteria

  1. Initial screening /shortlisting will be done on the basis of the score as per eligibility criteria
  2. Science Aptitude Test (written test)
  3. Paper-based I.Q. test
  4. Interview/presentation on innovative ideas
  5. Seats will be allocated as per federal Government quota system
  6. 30 seats are reserved for toppers of the BISEs exams, for which nominations will be called separately from relevant Boards

Salient Facilities for Selected Students

  1. Monthly scholarship @Rs.10,000 per month for two years (F.Sc.)
  2. Study visit to S&T organizations, universities, and Labs
  3. Undertaking research projects from the first year under the mentorship of University Professors

  1. Attested copies of the result card and Detailed Marks Sheet of SSC/Matric, and CNIC or B-Form
  2. Attested copy of Domicile is mandatory. However, the father’s domicile is acceptable only to appear in the written test

Duly filled and completed application form along with Bank deposit slip (Original) should be sent through courier or registered post to “CTS Office No. 6, 2nd Floor, United Plaza, 96-E, A.K. Fazal-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad” by 28 Jan 2020. The application received after the due date will not be entertained. No TA/DA is admissible for the test and interview.
